WINS Scholarship: Empowering Women in Neurosurgery

As of January 2024, women made up only 19% of board-qualified neurosurgeons worldwide. In a 2016 study, women made up 16.3% of neurosurgery residents, but only 6.1% of board-certified neurosurgeons and 4% of full professors.

Support women pursuing a career in neurosurgery at a global level.

Foster mentorship and networking opportunities for scholarship recipients.

Provide financial assistance for a 6-month rotation in the United States to female neurosurgery residents/junior faculty pursuing neurosurgery as a specialty.
