Juan Beckmann Vidal Scholarship: Advancing Neurosurgery and Health Equity in Mexico
The Juan Beckmann Vidal Scholarship, sponsored by the Beckmann Foundation, FUNED, and Mission:Brain Foundation, offers an opportunity for Mexican neurosurgery residents and junior neurosurgeons to gain vital experience and knowledge through international rotations.
Details & Who Can Apply
Open to Mexican neurosurgery residents and junior neurosurgeons. Two scholarships will be awarded for observerships in the U.S.
Funding Available
Up to $3,000 USD per month, with a total of $30,000β$36,000 USD, will be awarded to support living costs, travel, and other expenses during a six-month neurosurgical rotation in the U.S.
Duration
Scholarship recipients will spend between 6β12 months at a host institution in the United States.
Host Institutions
Rotations will take place in leading U.S. institutions for neurosurgery. Full details will be provided upon acceptance.

1. Applicants must be Mexican neurosurgery residents or junior neurosurgeons (within 5 years of completing residency).
