Chapters go as far as their people choose to take them
Our chapters act as a global network, bridging the gap in healthcare access in underserved regions. Driven by dedicated universities, we’re advancing equitable neurosurgical care through collaboration and compassion.
Locations
Chapters are student-led extensions of the mission:brain foundation, focused on local outreach, fundraising, recruitment, and innovation. Full details on roles and responsibilities can be found in the Chapter FAQs.
The overarching mission of our chapters and why they're so successful
We’re building a self-sustaining network of individuals dedicated to advancing global neurosurgery. Each chapter grows by addressing the unique needs of its local community, tailoring their efforts to make the most meaningful impact.
We keep our chapters resources connected across the globe for greater impact
The Twinning Program pairs chapters with different resources and expertise to collaborate and amplify their impact. Well-resourced chapters support those with fewer resources, creating a stronger network.
Partnerships between Italy and Mexico establish a free clinic.
Harvard supports Sierra Leone in fundraising efforts.
In Latin America, the twinning program is becoming a regional centerpiece.
