About the Summit
The Mission:BRAIN Asia Summit returns for its second year, November 27–29, 2026. Over three days, the Summit brings together neurosurgical leaders, chapter presidents, and rising medical innovators from across Asia's 14 active chapters, a network of more than 501 members across 7 countries.
The goal is the same one that anchors everything mission:BRAIN does in the region: expanding access to neurosurgical care and preparing the next generation of surgeons and advocates across Asia.
Building on 2025
Last year's inaugural Asia Summit, held October 3–5, 2025, set the structure this year's program builds on. Across three days, participants heard opening remarks from Dr. Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa, a keynote on global neurosurgery and the role of Asia, and a Leaders in Global Neurosurgery panel. Chapters competed through the team quiz rounds, the Mind Matrix pitching competition, and the 60 Seconds to Diagnosis rapid round, alongside workshops with neuro fellows, a residency Q&A, advocacy training, and a Women in Global Neurosurgery session.
The 2026 Summit carries that momentum forward with a larger network behind it.
The Three Days
Day 1 – Inspiration & Innovation
November 27. Keynotes and opening sessions from leaders in global neurosurgery, and the ideas shaping the field's next decade in Asia.
Day 2 – Surgical Access & Equity
November 28. The working core of the Summit: panels, workshops, and training focused on what it takes to close the gap in neurosurgical access across the region.
Day 3 – Celebration & Call to Action
November 29. Competition finals, recognition of chapter achievements, and a closing session on where the network goes from here.
