Assistant Director – Global Empowerment Team

Mission:Brain is currently accepting applications for Assistant Director of Empowerment. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Global Empowerment Director to design and deliver initiatives that focus on education, outreach, mentorship, and capacity-building. This position is about creating opportunities that uplift the next generation of leaders in global neurosurgery and neuroscience.

🟠 What You’ll Do

• Support the Global Empowerment Director in planning and executing initiatives (e.g., WINGS, scholarship, international initiatives, etc.).

• Help coordinate communications, logistics, and partnerships for events and ongoing projects.

• Assist in developing materials, outreach strategies, and engagement opportunities across our programs.

• Collaborate with international team members to strengthen participation and impact.

🟠 Ideal Candidate

• Organized and reliable, with strong communication skills.

• Interested in global health, equity, and neuroscience.

• Comfortable working with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms).

• Able to dedicate a few hours per week to coordination and project support.

• Motivated to contribute to leadership, innovation, and education in global neurosurgery and neuroscience.

This is a volunteer, remote position, a unique opportunity to contribute to a global mission, develop leadership skills, and be part of a team working to transform lives through neurosurgical care, education, and empowerment.
